Structure of the ATC
No. 22 Group RAF
No. 22 Group and it is responsible for RAF training policy and controlling the Royal Air Force College and the RAF's training stations including the Air Cadet organisation. Currently, No 22 Group is led by Air Vice-Marshal Warren "Bunny" James who is Chief of Staff Training and Air Officer Commanding No. 22 Group.
Headquarters RAF Air Cadets
Headquarters Air Cadets is located at RAF Cranwell and is tasked with overseeing the six regional headquarters of the Air Training Corps and the CCF(RAF) section. It also holds a training facility for the training of adult volunteers. The current commandant is Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty.
Central & East Region
Central & East Region is one of the six regiond that form to make the Air Training Corps. Their main task is to develop and execute strategies for the 6 wings and 176 Squadrons and Detached Flights under their command. The current commandant is Group Captain Nigel Gorman.
Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire Wing
Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire Wing is one of the six wings that form to make Central & East region. Their main task is to oversee all 30 squadrons which form the wing including 2203 Hatfield & de Havilland Squadron. The current commandant is Wing Commander Ross Gilbert.
